The National Offshore Petroleum Safety and Environmental Management Authority (NOPSEMA) is Australia's independent expert regulator for health and safety, structural integrity, well integrity and environmental management for all offshore energy operations and greenhouse gas storage activities in Commonwealth waters, and in coastal waters where regulatory powers and functions have been conferred. NOPSEMA also administers the functions of the Offshore Infrastructure Regulator (OIR), for the offshore renewables industry. We are seeking an experienced Senior Adviser, Planning and Performance to join the Strategy, Planning and Performance Team in our Perth Office. Role: Reporting to the Director Strategy - Planning and Performance, this role will support strategic, corporate, divisional and operational planning and performance reporting for NOPSEMA. The key duties of the position include Key Responsibilities: You will coordinate NOPSEMA's strategic, corporate, divisional and operational planning activities, including providing guidance, advice and support to all teams within NOPSEMA. You will provide assistance and support with the development, review and improvement of strategic, corporate and operational planning frameworks and activities. You will be responsible for developing, implementing and supporting effective and compliant performance reporting frameworks for NOPSEMA in line with strategic and government requirements. You will undertake research and analysis, including conducting external environmental scans, and build forecasting models to inform strategic planning and reporting initiatives. We would like to hear from you if: You have demonstrated experience in undertaking strategic, corporate and operational planning, preferably within a major hazard, regulatory or government environment. Possess experience in undertaking research and analysis to provide corporate reporting to drive improvement and meet legislative requirements. Demonstrate highly developed research, analytical and problem-solving skills together with excellent communication, influencing, negotiation and representation skills.
