Key competencies (role specific criteria) You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following: - Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, with the flexibility to respond to rapidly changing priorities and service needs- Demonstrated high level knowledge of diagnostic pathology services recognised by relevant experience, professional development activities, education or formal qualifications. - Demonstrated high level stakeholder engagement skills with the proven ability to establish and manage relationships across a broad range of stakeholder groups and organisations - Highly developed written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to a range of stakeholders - A demonstrated flexible approach to changing work priorities and duties Qualifications, registrations and other requirements The successful applicant must hold at least a relevant tertiary degree qualification applicable to Medical Laboratory Science (or equivalent). Possession of a higher qualification in Genomics (MHGSA, FHGSA), Public Health, Research or similar would be highly regarded. Appointment to this position requires proof of qualifications. Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager, prior to the commencement of clinical duties.
