What you'll do Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Queensland Health's core values as outlined above. Lead and manage data linkage projects to enable the Statistical Analysis and Linkage Unit to plan and prioritise linkage initiatives, negotiate and put in place legal and governance processes and documentation required for data sharing and engage additional workforce required to plan, develop and operate ICT infrastructure to enable expanded linkage operations. Build and maintain positive networks and collaborative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders across the state and commonwealth health sector. Support the Unit to provide timely and expert advice and input to the Minister, Director-General and state and national government committee representatives on data linkage initiatives including national linkage of hospital and primary care data and the National Disability Data Asset project. Provide support for state and national data linkage-related committees including associated briefings and coordination to inform the planning and delivery of complex data linkage services and projects. Demonstrate highly effective interpersonal skills at all levels, including consultation and presentation skills and proven ability in negotiation and influencing in a state and national environment to progress data linkage initiatives. Work within a team to achieve goals, priorities and initiatives of the Statistical Analysis and Linkage Unit. About you We are searching for someone who: Highly effective interpersonal and high-level strategic written communication skills, including proven ability to engage and influence multiple internal and external stakeholders and cultivate productive working relationships and networks. A proven record of accomplishment of leading projects / initiatives that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of healthcare service delivery. Demonstrated advanced project management skills, including the ability to establish robust project governance structures, define tasks, set priorities and coordinate activities effectively to meet deadlines, with a record of accomplishment of proven and sustained outcomes. Demonstrated advanced knowledge and experience in a data-related field, including understanding of data access governance and data linkage. Demonstrated experience in applying change management methodologies to complex cultural and practice change issues in the health sector. Comprehensive understanding of the public health sector, including knowledge of the Queensland Health and Commonwealth environment, preferably with an understanding of health-related data and data services delivery.
