In this role you will provide effective client focused confidential administrative, human resource, procurement and financial support services to the unit and will actively contribute to business support process improvement activities. You will be the first point of contact for all business services matters for the ODDG and will provide Human Resource and Financial advice to support management decisions. You may also be required to provide support with correspondence coordination and executive support within ODDG SPPD as required. What you'll do Provide confidential, effective and efficient administration and secretarial support to the ODDG, SPPD as required. This includes, procurement, finance and human resource reporting, records management, assistance with correspondence. Coordinate Human Resources administration for the unit including Human Resources forms, attendance sheets and systems applications. Preparation and initial analysis of periodic finance and human resources performance reports for the ODDG. Maintain an effective office records system and manage computerised databases, disposal schedules and storage as well as advise other administration officers as required. Prioritise workload to enable smooth and efficient operation of the office environment in cooperation with other team members and as directed by the Director ODDG, SPRD. About you We are searching for someone who has: High level written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to communicate effectively with officer at all levels with integrity, tact, ethical conduct, confidentiality and ensuring client interest. Demonstrated ability to provide efficient and effective administrative and secretariat support. Proven ability to work both in a team and autonomously and use initiative in the absence of decision-makers to establish work priorities and meet deadlines. Well-developed skills in the use of Microsoft Office applications, for examples, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Demonstrated ability to be adaptive, use initiative, establish priorities, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Proven ability to apply detailed knowledge of policies and practices for finance, procurement, human resources and records management. Why work with us?
