About the role As part of the Hearing Health Program team, you'll deliver culturally safe hearing screening and education services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children from Prep to Year 4 across the North West region. In this role, you will: - Conduct hearing screenings and refer children for follow-up care. Provide culturally appropriate health education to families and schools. Work within a multidisciplinary team to support community-based hearing programs. Promote self-management and holistic approaches to child and family wellbeing. Contribute to data collection, reporting, and quality improvement initiatives. Requirements It is essential that the person who holds the position be an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person. It is therefore a genuine occupational requirement under section 25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 that applicants are Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islanders. Mandatory requirements are a relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences. C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
