The Opportunity As our full-time, permanent, Product Coordinator at Shine, you’ll support our progressive and authentic firm as we right wrong. Reporting to our Technology Manager, and based in either our Melbourne CBD or Adelaide CBD team, in a hybrid working environment, you’ll support our team in the rapid delivery of legal technology to Shine Lawyers, predominantly working with our internally built, bespoke case management platform, and iManage. You’ll operate across the entire development lifecycle, assisting the team to document and validate business and technical functional and non-functional requirements, as well as preparing data dictionaries and database models. You’ll keep our team on track by reviewing our backlog of work requests and planning releases, ensuring work is allocated amongst the development team. You’ll also provide testing feedback and identify opportunities for process and product improvement. You’ll assist with data analysis and reporting, including preparing basic infographics utilising PowerBI, and cleansing datasets using excel and other tools. You’ll liaise with external software vendors, in relation to supporting escalation requests that are unable to be resolved internally. Finally, you’ll assist with administrative items, including managing the mailbox, responding professionally to internal and external stakeholders, escalating where necessary. What you’ll bring. To thrive in this role, you’ll have: Working towards or recently qualified in information technology studies will be highly regarded, if your relevant professional experience is limited. A strong focus on stakeholder servicing. Significant ability to multitask, manage and prioritise multiple stakeholders, requests and initiatives simultaneously. Strong written communication skills with a high level of attention to detail, as well as verbal communication skills. Demonstrated technological skills with the ability to learn new systems, software and programs quickly. Confident understanding of Excel, including knowledge on how to connect and extract from alternate data sources, and creation of pivot tables/charts and lookups. Knowledge and/or experience working with SQL or a general understanding of databases and data storage. Knowledge and/or experience working with design tools such as UXPin or similar. Experience with or exposure to working with visualisation tools such as PowerBI. Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment with a focus on delivery results. A high level of attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. Experience working in the legal industry, preferably personal injury or other plaintiff litigation e.g. Class Actions, including exposure to legal practice management software (such as Thomson Reuters 3E, MatterSphere, iManage) is highly desirable, but not essential for success.
