Duration: 3-month temporary contract Location: Southeastern suburbs Rate: $40 per hour plus super Working arrangement: Hybrid The Opportunity In this role, you will provide day-to-day administrative support to the Governance and Legal team. You will play an important part in assisting with civic events, ensuring councillor expenses and allowances are processed accurately, and supporting the department’s financial and administrative functions. Key Responsibilities Assist with administration tasks related to civic event organisationProcess councillor expenses and allowances in line with reporting requirementsDraft and prepare departmental correspondence as requiredManage financial transactions including purchase orders, invoices, and card payments, ensuring compliance with policy and budget requirementsCo-ordinate internal meetings including room bookings, catering, AV and set-upProvide diary management support to the Manager Governance and Legal About You: Previous experience in a similar function within local governmentDemonstrated experience providing governance support in a professional environmentProficiency with Doc Assembler and Oracle Finance is essentialStrong organisational and communication skills with attention to detailWillingness to undergo a police check Please select the 'APPLY' button to submit your application.
