APS Level 6, Ongoing $94,563 to $105,910 per annum plus an additional 15.4% superannuation Canberra preferred, Brisbane or Melbourne may be considered. The Australian Climate Service (ACS) is seeking to fill a Governance Officer role in the ACS. Under broad direction from the Manager Governance and Government Relations, the Governance Officer will support the effective operation of the governing committees of the ACS and provide general administration support to the ACS team, where required. They will build key relationships at multiple levels to deliver strong governance, assurance and secretariat processes. They are highly organised, able to prioritise competing demands, including monitoring all incoming and out-going emails and display close attention to detail drawing attention to matters of importance. The successful candidate will have the skills and experience to work within a dynamic team that provides high-quality output within tight timeframes. Essential to the role are adaptability and strong interpersonal skills, as the position will be required to liaise with managers at all levels and across business areas to fulfill a range of tasks to support the effective operation of the ACS.
