Indigeco is partnering with a leading national organisation seeking a People and Culture Coordinator to champion cultural safety, inclusion, and strategic recruitment practices across their workforce. This position is ideal for an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander professional passionate about integrating Indigenous perspectives into HR frameworks and organisational strategy. Key Responsibilities Apply a cultural safety lens across all recruitment and employee lifecycle processes. Co-design and implement strategies to embed Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and Māori cultural principles within People & Culture initiatives. Provide culturally informed advice and support to hiring panels and internal teams. Lead projects and process improvements that promote fairness, inclusion, and self-determination. Engage with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander communities, leaders, and organisations to ensure diverse perspectives shape workforce strategy. Support and coordinate staff training, yarning circles, and initiatives that strengthen organisational cultural safety. Assist in developing and implementing inclusive policies and systems to enhance equity and belonging. About You Identified Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person with demonstrated connection to community and culture. Experience in People & Culture or HR roles, ideally with a focus on recruitment or diversity and inclusion. Skilled in stakeholder engagement, project coordination, and policy development. Strong communicator with high attention to detail and a collaborative mindset. Proficient with Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms such as Employment Hero or similar. Able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. What You’ll Get Competitive salary range of $96,598–$105,888 super.
