Job Description We are seeking an Assistant Financial Controller / Finance Officer for a short-term contract (5 months) position in Brisbane City, Australia. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join our finance team and contribute to the financial management of our organization during a critical period. Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Support the development and monitoring of budgets and financial forecasts Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making Manage month-end and year-end closing processes Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards and regulations Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve financial processes and controls Prepare financial reports for management and external stakeholders Assist in managing cash flow and treasury operations Support audit processes and liaise with external auditors as needed Contribute to special projects and ad-hoc financial analysis as required
