About the Role: You’ll be part of a collaborative finance team, responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable, liaising with vendors and clients, and supporting procurement and reconciliation processes. This is a fantastic opportunity to deepen your accounting skills and gain exposure to financial analysis, with full training provided. Are you the right fit? You’re organised, good with numbers, and enjoy working with invoices and payments. You know how to use Excel and have experience with accounts payable and receivable. You like solving problems, working with others, and are keen to keep learning and growing in finance. Key Responsibilities: · Process vendor invoices and customer billing · Perform daily accounts payable and receivable tasks · Liaise with the Operations team and respond to client/vendor queries · Reconcile vendor and customer accounts · Allocate and post daily bank receipts and payments · Follow up on overdue customer balances · Adhere to office policies and procedures What we’re looking for: · Strong MS Excel skills · Minimum 3 years’ experience in AP/AR processes · Experience with large ERP system preferred · Excellent verbal and written communication · Self-motivated, results-driven, and a natural problem solver · Eager to learn and take on new finance tasks · Able to work independently and within a team Who we are: Challenger Services Group is a premier national provider of essential service solutions, including cleaning, security, hospitality, government, aged care, and education.
