Job Description Purpose of role: The Financial Security & Protection Lead is accountable for the defensive protection of all company financial assets. This role supports the development and execution of the overarching strategy for fraud prevention, loss mitigation. By embedding secure and resilient processes, the Lead will safeguard the business against financial crime, protect its reputation, and provide the financial confidence necessary to support sustained business growth. Operationally, this position will construct and manage detailed Financial Loss Prevention reporting, focusing on insights from internal and external loss, cash variances, and fraud investigations. The Lead is also responsible for managing the company's instance of the Appriss internal fraud dashboard and any associated actions. In collaboration with Procurement, they will ensure all security contracts have appropriate SLAs in place and are performing effectively. What to expect: ● Fraud Lifecycle Management: Lead the full lifecycle of fraud management, encompassing proactive prevention, detection, and the thorough investigation of all incidents. ● Reporting & Trend Analysis: Lead all loss prevention reporting, analysing data to identify and report on trends related to internal/external loss, cash gaps, and security incidents. ● Actionable Analytics: Utilise data analytics tools (e.g., Appriss) to generate actionable insights, identify emerging risks, and inform proactive protection strategies. ● Process Integrity & Improvement: Design, embed, and continuously improve secure financial processes to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and resilience of all cash controls and reporting. ● Investigation & Resolution: Drive financial security investigations to their conclusion, providing clear insights to resolve vulnerabilities and prevent recurrence. ● Stakeholder Management & Advisory: Act as the lead subject matter expert on financial security, collaborating with internal teams and providing expert guidance to leadership
