The Assistant Director is responsible for managing all aspects of the project administration and governance for the Construction Surveillance Management team. This includes ensuring management of team rosters, attendance at project meetings, and managing communication in and out of the team, delivering on quality, timeliness, accuracy and consistency. This position also prepares complex briefings, high level reports, detailed correspondence and prioritise and monitor workflows for Project reporting processes, tasks and activities, researching information as required. Providing support for Project meetings including co-ordination of reporting, preparation of agendas and papers required for the meetings, the recording, transcribing and distribution of minutes for meetings, etc is require driving good governance and business improvement in conjunction with the Construction Surveillance team, staff and stakeholders. Eligibility/Other requirements: Desirable: Experience in a similar role within an infrastructure project environment will be highly regarded. A good working knowledge of Objective and Microsoft Office. An understanding of the ACT Government Business and Administrative processes, or equivalent.
