We are seeking a skilled and proactive Network Administrator to join our team and help maintain and enhance our critical IT systems. Position Overview As a Network Administrator, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting our hardware, software, and network infrastructure. You will ensure the smooth and secure operation of servers, workstations, and other IT assets while also supporting users and optimizing system performance. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems. Ensure optimal performance of servers, PCs, printers, and networked devices. Monitor and maintain network infrastructure to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency. Manage user accounts, passwords, access control, and security protocols. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues. Document systems, configurations, issues, and resolutions accurately. Provide Level 1 & 2 help desk support and basic user training where required. Research, evaluate, and implement network infrastructure improvements. Design, develop, and interpret complex system architecture and data models. Monitor network traffic, capacity, and usage to maintain performance integrity. Provide scripting or network programming to meet specific business needs. Prepare and maintain documentation for inventory, network issues, and upgrades. Assess, recommend, and implement new technologies or updates to current systems. Key Requirements Proven experience as a Network Administrator or in a similar role. Strong understanding of network infrastructure, hardware, software, and protocols. Experience with Windows and/or Linux server environments. Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving system/network issues. Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and access management. Ability to design and maintain system architecture documentation. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Relevant IT qualifications and certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network, Cisco CCNA, Microsoft certifications) are desirable.
