We’re looking for a Cloud Engineer to help design, build, and optimise scalable, secure, and automated cloud solutions that enable innovation and accelerate delivery across our business. In this position, you will build and optimise networking infrastructure while ensuring the availability of critical systems. Additionally, you will automate infrastructure and software delivery, promote DevOps practices, and empower teams to deliver value more quickly. You will work across Azure and AWS environments to implement governance and execute disaster recovery processes. What you'll do: Plan and execute disaster recovery runbooks for critical business systems Build and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS and Azure with CDK and Terraform Promote DevOps and cloud-native practices Implement strong security controls to ensure regulatory compliance Manage networking technologies such as Strata Cloud Manager, Megaport MCR/DXC, AWS Direct Connect, and Azure ExpressRoute Proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise system performance About you You have a strong enthusiasm for automation and cloud engineering, with a proven track record of helping teams deliver quickly. Experience in an APRA-regulated environment is preferred but not mandatory. You’ll bring: 3 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Network Engineering Proficiency in automation, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code Strong scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, Python, or TypeScript In-depth knowledge of security best practices using Prisma Access, Azure, and AWS Familiarity with AWS Fault Injection Service and Azure Chaos Studio Expertise in managing networks in a multi-cloud environment, including AWS Transit Gateway, Azure vWAN, Megaport Cloud Router, and Palo Alto Prisma Access Proven experience in creating and executing Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plans Strong communication skills, with demonstrated project leadership and stakeholder engagement capabilities We know some people only apply when they meet every requirement.
