Tell me about this role: As the Budget Manager, you will be part of a specialised commercial, procurement and financial team to drive the project priorities across procurement, contracting and financial management. You will manage annual budget milestones, including Additional and Budget Estimates processes, asset accounting and reporting. What will I be doing day to day? Manage annual budget milestones, including Additional and Budget Estimates processes, asset accounting and reporting Deliver monthly and weekly financial reporting and forecasting, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project schedules Administer purchase orders and expenditure tracking in accordance with Project Accounting Manuals and relevant financial policies Monitor project expenditure, identify risks and implement mitigation strategies Produce clear, audit-ready documentation to support governance and decision-making What sort of skills do I need? Must have degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Commerce, Business Administration or related field Proficient in ERP or financial management systems which is used in Government Previous experience in Defence project based work (highly desirable) Hold a minimum NV1 clearance (must be an Australian citizen) What’s in it for me?
