In this Finance Officer role, you’ll support the delivery of core financial functions. This is a part-time position on an initial 12-month hourly-rate contract, with the possibility of permanency based on performance. Working hours are 9:00–3:00, Monday to Friday. This role is ideal for someone seeking part-time work and flexibility around school hours. The Role Key responsibilities include: Processing accounts payable and receivable transactions in a timely and accurate manner Performing bank and credit card reconciliations and supporting treasury activities Ensuring payment deadlines and compliance requirements are met Responding to queries from internal and external stakeholders Identifying potential issues and escalating them promptly to management The Ideal Person You are friendly, approachable, and keen to learn and adding value to a small, close-knit team. You will be IT-savvy, and be a proactive learner. You will likely come from a finance or administration background. Prior experience in accounts and treasury is an advantage; however, this agency has a supportive team and will provide training to bridge any gaps. This role requires a Baseline security clearance.
