The key duties of the position include The Role As an APS 6 Analyst in the TCM PMO, you will: Undertake imagery intelligence and advanced stereo imagery exploitation Work within a small, highly technical team to manage Australia's TCM accreditation, certification, quality assurance and compliance Have a sound understanding of end-to-end TCM production processes and be knowledgeable in TCM technical mechanisms Regularly engage with stakeholders and TCM analysts to ensure compliance and to provide knowledgeable advice on Australia's TCM program, targeting policy and standards Work both autonomously and in a team environment to systematically produce high quality continuation training and testing materials Participate in reviews and contribute to updates and development of TCM policies, process and procedures, and training materials Take part in capability development discussions and work collegiately towards achieving team strategic goals Contribute to continual improvement of TCM certification methods, quality assurance, and the provision of detailed feedback and technical advice to TCM analysts and approved work centres. This role is eligible for an additional remuneration benefit known in Defence as a Building Defence Capability Payment (BDCP). This enables Defence to provide a premium, in addition to the base salary otherwise payable under the Defence Enterprise Collective Agreement (DECA), for positions in occupational disciplines/classifications that are critical to Defence capability. Our Ideal Candidate In the TCM PMO, Stereo vision is a mandatory requirement of the role, with superior stereo acuity a preference (a stereo test will be a part of the suitability process). As our ideal candidate, you will have: A demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the requirements for TCM and how this process supports the ADF Experience working in technical and/or specialist teams and have a proven ability to collaborate effectively with military members, APS, and contractors across multiple locations; Strong interpersonal and communication skills to competently engage with stakeholders including AGO staff, military members and contractors, and be able to build and develop relationships with international stakeholders An ability to work both independently and as part of a small team that strives to understand and develop Australia's TCM program A demonstrated commitment to maintaining strict standards, and adhering to policy requirements, will be beneficial
