Contract Services Officer 6-month contract Canberra Based Immediate Start KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Assisting with the management of external contracts, including liaising with contractors and basic contract administration. Preparing approval memorandums / minutes to the Contract Manager for achievement of project milestones, including reviewing and validating invoices. Assist in setting up and following contract management plans for either each project or group of similar projects. Maintaining contract management tools and tracking milestones to help achieve project timelines. Interrogate, analyse and interpret data to support decision-making. Supporting document management and version control for project materials. Preparing, formatting and proofreading reports, briefings, meeting minutes, action registers and other written content. Interpretation and application of legislative and policy requirements, within the scope of contract management requirements. Assisting with regular risk assessments and reporting on contractual arrangements. Build and maintain positive relationships with contracted parties, internal, and external stakeholders. Contributing to, and use of, relevant business processes (inputting data into contract management systems and other IT systems relevant to the project). Conducting research and data collection for qualitative analysis. Promote and actively demonstrate the positive application of change management, and business improvements.
