Please note: this is an 18 month fixed-term contract Job Description YOUR ROLE The Product Manager - Finance will play a key role in MACS’ Digital Reimagination Program, leading the delivery of finance technology solutions within a major ERP (SAP) transformation. Reporting to the CFO, this strategic role will shape and deliver user-centric, compliant and scalable finance systems that support operational excellence. It suits an experienced Product Manager with strong ERP and financial process expertise, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to translate complex business needs into impactful solutions Desired Skills and Experience WHAT YOU WILL DO Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for finance solutions within the ERP transformation - defining the product vision, shaping the roadmap, and delivering measurable outcomes aligned to MACS’ strategic goals. Develop a deep understanding of the current enterprise finance landscape, identifying pain points, inefficiencies, and opportunities for innovation across schools and diocesan offices. Drive product portfolio strategy, identifying gaps, rationalising existing tools, and ensuring alignment with evolving business needs and compliance requirements Define and track success metrics to evaluate product performance, inform decision-making, and continuously improve user experience and business value. Collaborate with key stakeholders including the implementation vendor, MACS IT Management, senior Finance stakeholders, and internal MACS teams to ensure seamless rollout and adoption of finance solutions. ABOUT YOU Proven experience as a Product Manager delivering complex, enterprise-scale finance or ERP solutions, ideally within education, government, or not-for-profit sectors. Deep understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, and compliance frameworks, with the ability to translate these into effective system capabilities. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a track record of using data to drive decisions and deliver measurable outcomes. Proficiency in Confluence and JIRA for agile product development and collaboration viewed favourably. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholders at all levels.
