My client are hiring two Full Stack Developers to join their fast-growing digital team based in Melbourne’s CBD. These are permanent roles working on client-facing web platforms across a variety of industries. About You You’re a mid-level developer who’s confident working across both frontend and backend. You enjoy solving problems, collaborating with others, and can clearly explain your technical decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Tech Environment You’ll be working with a modern and flexible tech stack that includes: Frontend: ReactJS, VueJS, and NextJS (experience with any is welcome) Backend: Node, Python and Ruby on Rails (you’ll need solid grounding in at least one) Cloud & Architecture: Exposure to AWS services like Lambda, API Gateway, EC2, and Amplify is a bonus. Serverless architecture is part of the setup. Databases: MySQL or MariaDB Dev Tools: GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development workflows AI Integration: The team actively uses tools like ClaudeAI, ChatGPT, and Cursor to enhance development, so familiarity or interest in AI-assisted coding is a plus The Team & Culture: 10-person team with 5 senior engineers focusing on architecture Supportive, fast-paced environment with lots of variety Office located on Collins Street Full-time in-office to start, then hybrid (4 days/week in-office) Clear processes: initial phone screen, short technical test (AI tools allowed), and final interview with the tech lead We’re not looking for unicorns, just capable developers who want to grow, contribute, and be part of a team that’s winning work and building smart solutions.
