The Opportunity Due to growth across the practice group and a consistent pipeline of work, we are currently looking for Senior Associates to join our Band 1 Banking & Finance team, to be based in Sydney. Sub-specialities in the group includes: Corporate Finance Real Estate and Property Finance Leveraged and acquisition Finance Structured and Asset Finance Project Finance You will benefit from the premium exposure to large and complex transactions in these areas. You will have the opportunity to work with other pre-eminent Partners and senior lawyers across the wider Finance, Real Estate and Corporate practice groups. You will gain excellent client exposure and opportunities to develop a network of relationships. To be successful in this role, you will have: Demonstrable experience in delivering technical advice on a range of banking and finance matters from a top tier, national or international private practice environment. An excellent academic record coupled with strong legal skills and a practical mindset. A proactive approach and desire to be an integral member of our leading and supportive team. An ability to work to tight timeframes, collaboratively and at times autonomously. Excellent communication skills and ability to demonstrate collegiality within a team. The team: Our Finance team acts for banks, financial institutions, government bodies and major corporate borrowers on all types of finance transactions, including debt capital markets. They also advise banks and other financial institutions on local and international bank regulatory issues.
