Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced and solution-oriented Automation Architect with a strong background in building enterprise-grade automation frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, Appium, Cucumber, and Rest Assured. The ideal candidate will have deep experience working in Agile environments, hold certifications in AWS DevOps Engineering and Scrum, and possess practical knowledge of integrating AI-driven testing tools. Strong understanding of Guidewire core components (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter) along with Guidewire QA Certification is a must. This role is critical in defining the automation vision, guiding QA strategy, and aligning automation with DevOps and Agile practices across Guidewire implementations. Mandatory Skills: · Proven framework development experience in: o Selenium WebDriver o Cypress o Playwright o Appium o Cucumber (BDD) o Rest Assured (API Testing) · Strong programming knowledge in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python · Hands-on experience integrating with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Bitbucket, AWS CodePipeline) · AWS DevOps Engineer - Professional Certification · Professional Scrum Master (PSM1) Certificate · Familiarity with AI-powered testing tools - Applitools, Copilot · Strong understanding of Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter · Guidewire QA Certification · Proficient in version control systems like Git · Excellent collaboration, communication, and mentoring skills Duties and Responsibilities: · Design and architect robust, modular, and reusable test automation frameworks across web, API, and mobile platforms · Lead automation strategy and execution for Guidewire Core Platform implementations · Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams in Agile Scrum ceremonies · Embed automation into CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based environments using AWS DevOps tools and services · Integrate AI-based testing capabilities of self-healing, visual validations, predictive analytics to improve efficiency · Implement and enforce BDD testing practices using Cucumber, promoting shared understanding between business and tech · Guide QA engineers on best practices, code reviews, and continuous improvement · Coordinate with Guidewire delivery teams to ensure seamless integration and regression coverage · Contribute to test data management, environment provisioning, and mocking strategies · Monitor test coverage, execution metrics, and continuously optimize automation effectiveness Qualifications & Certifications (Optional): · Master's degree in information technology, Engineering in computer science. · 16 years of QA automation experience, including framework architecture and design. · Strong domain knowledge of Guidewire Suite (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter) · Guidewire QA Certification. · AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional · Professional Scrum Master (PSM1) Certificate with Agile project delivery experience. · Strong understanding of Agile principles, CI/CD, and test automation in DevOps pipelines.
