Airnorth are recruiting for a Technical Services & Reliability Engineer to join the Continuing Airworthiness team. Reporting to the Continuing Airworthiness Manager the Technical Services & Reliability Engineer is responsible for liaising with OEMs and Part 21 organisations on behalf of the Operator for specialist support. This role is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, with availability after hours to respond to urgent operational matters. The Technical Services & Reliability engineer role responsibilities include: Liaison with OEM’s, Part 21 organisations, and others for the provision of specialist Engineering services, Technical Dispositions, Engineering Orders and Repairs, etc. Providing timely reports to the AMO concerning issues affected by specialist organisation input Preparation and distribution of Monthly Reliability and ECTM reports to all internal and external stake holders and identification and analysis of trends and development of solutions Preparation of Quarterly Reliability reports for CASA Defect investigations and reporting via CASA DSR system, including follow-up actions and recommendations Liaison with CASA for incident reporting Assist with AD and SB assessment through research and the MRP process Assist Airworthiness Review staff in attaining and analysing information required for ARC issue. Provide practical back-up to other CAMO staff as required. Spot quality checks of data and paperwork provided by AMO. Reporting to the CAM on those matters relating to the CAMO responsibilities. In consultation with the MRP, ensure the assessment of Mandatory ICA such as SB’s and AD’s, and Non mandatory ICA. Apply, monitor, and oversight all activities associated with the Reliability Program. Participating in evaluation of aircraft, engine during fleet acquisition and transition Analysis of ECTM and System performances to recommend technical solutions. Providing maintenance technical support, as and when required, via web-based research, liaison with the CASR 21 representative(s), manufacturers, vendors, suppliers, and the Regulatory Authority. Any other duties within the incumbent’s abilities, training and experience as directed by the CAM. We are looking for someone who possesses the following: Formal aviation related engineering tertiary qualifications or trade licences and/or experience as LAME. Sound knowledge of Reliability Systems and/or Statistical analysis Ability to research and prepare reports for technical and non-technical audiences. Knowledge of relevant statutory and CASA regulatory requirements Working knowledge of aircraft maintenance programs. Proficient with Microsoft Office software suite including Excel/Word/Oulook; Previous experience with CMMS software and relational databases e.g.: Envision, IAS, TRAX, Winair As shortlisting will commence immediately, we reserve the right to close this position earlier than stated.
