About the role This is an excellent entry-level opportunity to launch your career in publishing with Are Media's Advertising Sales team. As a Commercial Operations Executive, you'll provide essential support to the print advertising sales operations across Australia's most iconic brands including Australian Women's Weekly, marie claire, and Better Homes and Gardens. This position offers hands-on experience in traditional print media, where you'll learn the fundamentals of magazine advertising while supporting a busy sales team in a fast-paced publishing environment. Duties Print Campaign Coordination: Assist with booking and scheduling print advertisements, managing insertion orders and publication deadlines Administrative Support: Provide day-to-day support to the sales team including filing, data entry, and maintaining client contact databases Production Liaison: Coordinate with production teams to ensure print advertisements are received, approved, and positioned correctly in magazines Skills and experience Strong computer skills including basic Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities Good phone manner and written communication skills Ability to work in a team environment and take direction well Willingness to learn and take on new challenges Previous administrative, retail, or customer service experience Are Media is a proud member of Media Diversity Australia, a not-for-profit organisation working towards a media landscape that looks and sounds like Australia.
