The Role The Senior Officer Records Management will assist with implementation of ACECQA's records and information management program including development and review of policies and procedures and delivery of training. The position will also facilitate records system administration and end user support. This role will conduct routine system recordkeeping activities, investigate and resolve system issues, as well as assist with strategic initiatives including quality assurance, training and education, information and records projects, and data lifecycle management of the organisation's records and information. This role is full time and ongoing at ACECQA Band 5 ($103,179 - $122,039). The key duties of the position include To be successful in this role you will need: 1. Strong understanding of records management principles including information classification, retention schedules, access controls, metadata capture, and compliance requirements with the State Records Act NSW. 2. Demonstrated experience in providing administrative support for TRIM or another EDRMS including responding to user queries, conducting user training sessions, and creating user documentation and guides. 3. Proficiency in conducting regular quality assurance checks and system audits to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with records management policies, standards, and regulatory requirements. 4. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical information effectively. 5. Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail in managing system records, ensuring adherence to established records management policies and procedures. 6. Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and all levels of staff including IT, management, and business areas to resolve issues and ensure alignment with IT strategic objectives. 7. Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. While not essential, the following attributes will greatly assist you in the role: 1. Public sector and government experience. 2. Experience and/or knowledge of Sharepoint, Salesforce, and TechnologyOne.
