Your role, reporting to the Service Manager, will involve maintaining strong employee relations, operating within ethical guidelines, and upholding our company values. This is a full-time position, working a 5-day week including a 3pm finish time on Fridays. No weekends or public holidays are required. Key Selection Criteria The successful candidate will possess: Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Diagnostic Technician, with a focus on European brands. Certification or training specific to VW is highly desirable. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. A valid driver's license. Excellent attention to detail. A positive attitude, self-motivated, and possess a strong work ethic. Your responsibilities include: Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on a wide range of Volkswagen vehicles. Utilise diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve mechanical and electronic issues. Conduct routine maintenance and service checks to ensure vehicle performance and safety. Collaborate with the service team to provide timely and accurate information to customers. Stay updated with the latest technical advancements and training provided by Volkswagen Group Australia. Only applicants with a proven record in automotive vehicle servicing roles can be considered. Such roles include service technician, diagnosis technician, workshop controller, workshop foreman or master technician.
