As we continue to grow, we are looking for a skilled Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) to enhance supplier performance and ensure compliance with our stringent quality standards. About the role: The Supplier Quality Engineer is a key liaison between our Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain teams, ensuring that all supplier-provided components meet our specifications and quality standards. You'll be instrumental in developing supplier capabilities, resolving quality issues and driving continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Lead PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) activities with suppliers Evaluate supplier process capability, implement corrective actions, and track performance Conduct PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) reviews with suppliers and internal teams Perform supplier audits, manage non-conformances, and follow up with root cause analysis and corrective actions (8D) Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to improve quality systems and product reliability Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Procurement, and Production Maintain supplier scorecards and support supplier development initiatives About you: To be successful in this role you will have the desire and ability to drive continuous improvement across the team and will offer the following: Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or related field) Proven experience in a Supplier Quality or Quality Engineering role within the automotive industry Strong understanding and hands-on experience with PPAP, PFMEA, APQP, and SPC Familiarity with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards Excellent problem-solving skills with experience using tools like 8D, 5-Why, and Fishbone analysis Ability to read engineering drawings and use measurement tools Strong communication and negotiation skills Ability to travel to supplier sites as required What We Offer You: Be part of a globally recognised brand with a rich history in automotive innovation Enjoy a supportive team environment and culture of continuous improvement Competitive salary package and professional development opportunities Work on cutting-edge automotive programs with high visibility Interested?
