Our client is a well-established Australian accounting and advisory firm with over 75 years of experience. They are currently seeking an experienced Audit professional to join their team. In this role, you will work directly with a partner who will support you in building strong client relationships. You will also play a key role in guiding and assisting junior team members during audit engagements. Responsibilities: Running medium to large audit engagements from planning to successful completion, depending on your experience Understanding internal control procedures and implementing internal control testing for external audit Providing high-level technical audit and assurance advice to clients Prepare audit planning, risk responses and completion documentation, guidance until you reach this level Providing advice to the client around the application of accounting standards and policies Preparation and Review of General-Purpose Financial Reports for audit and non-audit clients if needed Coordination with client and other team members Assistance in special projects Requirement: 1-2 years’ experience in professional services with an emphasis on Audit and Assurance in Australia or 3-5 years' experience oversea Adhere to our client service standards Be committed to continuous improvement and professional development Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) or similar undergraduate degree. Completed or nearing completion – Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) or equivalent. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Strong exposure to accounting software, including but not limited to Caseware, Xero, MYOB and QuickBook.
