Event Coordinator Wanted Be Part of Something Big The Knox TAC L2P Program is turning 10 this November and were planning a celebration to remember! Were looking for a motivated, organised and creative Event Coordinator to help bring this exciting milestone to life. The TAC L2P Program is a partnership between the Department of Transport, the Transport Accident Commission (TAC), local councils and community organisations. Locally, the program is proudly delivered by headspace Knox and Each, supporting young people to get their licence by pairing them with volunteer driving mentors. To celebrate a decade of driving change, were throwing a special event to honour the mentors, learners, supporters and staff whove helped make this program a success and we need someone to take the lead! Working under the guidance of the L2P Coordinator, you'll have the chance to shape this event from start to finish. Think: Sourcing and booking the venue Managing invitations and RSVPs Organising catering and event logistics Coordinating with speakers, guests and VIPs Supporting media and communications Keeping to timelines and budgets Bringing your creative flair to make the event memorable and engaging TAC will provide an overarching framework and branding guidelines but the style, atmosphere, and experience of the event is up to you. This opportunity would suit: An experienced administrator looking for a rewarding short-term project A student or recent graduate in event management, public relations, or community development Someone with strong communication and coordination skills * A motivated self-starter who can take the ball and run with it! Youll need to feel comfortable liaising with a wide range of stakeholders including dignitaries, corporate partners, community mentors, young people, and staff. Youll be supported by the team at Headspace Knox City, but you can work remotely or in the office its up to you. This flexible opportunity is outcome-focused, so as long as timelines and milestones are met, you can tailor your hours around study or other commitments.
