Key Duties and Responsibilities: The Manager key responsibilities are: Developing, implementing and monitoring continuous improvement systems for the provision of quality services that comply with legislative standards. Contributing to the development of new initiatives aimed at strengthening the capacity of services to respond to the needs of people with an intellectual disability and their families. Providing leadership and support to staff through the implementation of positive management practices and policies. Adhering to all legislation relevant to the public sector, the department and people with a disability. Nurtures internal and external relationships by building and sustaining positive relationships with staff, stakeholders and professional networks. Proactively engages in negotiations for a mutually beneficial outcome. You provide constructive and regular feedback to staff and when required you deal with underperformance of individual staff promptly. You demonstrate your consultation and negotiation skills with stakeholders, staff and colleagues. You present information in a clear, concise and articulate manner both verbally and written. Recognising and contributing to the AS&RS Governance Structure, supporting quality outcomes for clients through the delivery of quality services and continuous improvement.
