The Assisted Reproductive Technology Unit is responsible for a large scale and complex program of work that will involve implementation of a new regulatory compliance scheme for ART providers who provider ART services in Queensland, including: establishing a state-wide licensing and regulatory compliance framework for ART providers; development of appropriate ICT systems; and development of education and training, guidelines, policies, communications materials and resources. What you will do: You will provide strategic, professional, and timely advice to leaders and executives on key issues, priorities, and major projects related to ART. You will lead and manage the development and implementation of priority strategic projects and initiatives, embedding best practices throughout. To ensure quality outcomes, you will maintain consistency across ART program portfolios and projects by applying Queensland Health's formal program and project management methodologies, including risk, issue management, and change control. Additionally, you will lead the identification, research, and resolution of contentious, time-critical, or confidential matters to uphold high-quality standards. About you: Demonstrated ability to provide effective leadership and management at a senior level within a service delivery organisation involving multi-disciplinary teams and diverse work programs. Strategic, analytical and innovative skills in program planning, management and delivery, particularly in relation to clinical support services. High level knowledge and understanding of policy development, public sector accountabilities, central agency roles and government processes, along with the ability to provide high-level policy and briefings. Demonstrated strong strategic and critical thinking skills with an ability to analyse and integrate information from diverse sources. Demonstrated experience in dealing with high level stakeholders across a range of areas to facilitate problem resolution and delivery of complex health-related projects and the ability to develop and form a harmonised approach.
