Job Description The Library and Archives Manager at the Australian College of Nursing is responsible for overseeing the management, organisation, and accessibility of ACN’s library and archival resources. This role is pivotal in supporting the academic and professional development of both students and staff by ensuring they have access to comprehensive, up-to-date, and relevant information resources. The Library and Archives Manager will lead efforts to enhance the library's services, foster a supportive learning environment, and facilitate research and educational activities. Selection Criteria A tertiary degree in Library and Information Science or equivalent. Relevant experience in library and /or archival management, preferably in an academic setting. In-depth knowledge of library and archival best practices, standards, and technologies. Proven experience in managing digital library services and resources. Ability to conduct training sessions and workshops effectively. Familiarity with academic research processes and information literacy principles. Demonstrated high-level computer skills and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software. Proven ability and willingness to work collaboratively with a diverse group of internal and external customers. Demonstrated high-level written and verbal communication skills. Proven well-developed interpersonal, problem solving and time management skills. Please note: this is a permanent full-time position.
