LDC plays a critical role in ensuring the AFP maintains a skills and capable workforce. Business Support Officers are fundamental in providing support across all programs and projects in LDC. Areas include Recruit Training, Investigations Training, Leadership, skills maintenance, facilities management and project coordination. As a Team Member in the AFP you will be required to contribute to the achievement of outcomes in accordance with the regulatory framework, the AFP Code of Conduct and the AFP Governance Instruments. It is expected that the successful applicant will deliver on the core responsibilities and meet any requirements of the position as outlined below. What will you do? Foster collaboration with a range of internal and external stakeholders. Support members of the LDC faculties with administration associated with the planning, development, coordination and delivery of training programs. Provide administrative support, including deploying (where practical) for regionally based programs. Liaise with other areas of LDC regarding program resources and administrative processes. Develop and manage contracts, budgets, invoices and financial processes associated with course delivery. Utilise a variety of information and communication technology, record-keeping, information management systems, and analytical tools. Continuous process review and pursue process improvement initiatives. Maintain currency in relevant skills through ongoing professional development and learning opportunities outside the formal education process.
