IT Business Analyst / Consultant – Applications Migration Project Join a locally grown Perth-based consulting firm in a key IT Business Analyst / Consultant role, supporting the successful delivery of a major applications migration project for an enterprise client. This is a pure BA role working closely with stakeholders to deliver high-value analysis and recommendations to guide technology and business change. The Role You’ll work on a new applications migration project, engaging directly with senior business stakeholders to: • Run discovery workshops and stakeholder interviews • Analyse complex systems, legacy platforms, and business processes • Construct future state requirements, process models, and supporting documentation • Conduct risk and options assessments with high-level cost modelling • Develop high-quality artefacts including Business Cases, Options Papers, and Process Maps • Collaborate with technical teams to support solution analysis and project delivery This is a 6-month rolling contract with the potential for extension. The office location is based North of the River. Key Skills & Experience Needed • 5–8 years’ experience as a Business Analyst (pure BA focus) • Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation experience • Ability to simplify complexity and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences • Strong documentation skills – requirements, business cases, risk and cost analysis • Understanding of application migration and enterprise systems environments • Prior experience delivering within government or regulated sectors preferred You Bring: • A proven consulting mindset – adaptable, proactive, and delivery-focused • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • A passion for solving problems and creating value through clear, well-thought-out analysis • Tertiary qualifications and/or certifications such as BABOK, CBAP, or UML (preferred) Important Notes • This role is based on-site in Perth , Western Australia. • Candidates must have full Australian working rights . • Police clearance and background checks may be required.
