Description Join Downer’s Energy and Utilities team as a new Senior Business Analyst focused exclusively on a long-term Asset Management contract within the non-process infrastructure (NPI) sector of Oil and Gas. The Opportunity In this client- and stakeholder-facing role, you’ll shape the operational strategy and performance of a critical long-term engagement. From analysing RFQs and leading business case development, to improving service delivery through KPI reporting, process standardisation, and continuous improvement — you will play a pivotal role in bridging commercial, operational, and client needs. Analyse client RFQs and internal initiatives to develop robust, data-driven business cases Identify and lead business improvement projects aligned to contract KPIs and asset performance Design and deliver high-quality reporting frameworks that provide insights and drive decisions Standardise business analysis and reporting processes across the contract Develop and present case studies showcasing innovation, savings, and service excellence Partner closely with internal teams and client stakeholders to embed sustainable outcomes What we are looking for 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst or Business Improvement Analyst in asset management, infrastructure, or facilities Proven ability to develop business cases and lead improvements with tangible outcomes Highly skilled in KPI reporting, data analysis, and using tools such as Power BI, Excel, Visio Confident communicator who can influence, facilitate workshops, and lead change Understanding of NPI operations and client expectations in the oil and gas sector is highly desirable Tertiary qualification in business, engineering, or IT What we offer Opportunity for career growth with structured frameworks and supportive-inclusive team Competitive Salary and Employee Benefits Valued and respected position, with supportive and experienced team Work for a major ASX-listed company About Energy & Utilities… Downer's Energy & Utilities business unit is an integrated trans-Tasman team, providing services and solutions that connect communities to essential networks and infrastructure.
