Our client URGENTLY requires a Radio Frequency Technologist for a 12 months Contract in Canberra. Radio Frequency Technologist is required to work across a variety of disciplines including RF hardware design, software configuration, testing and completing systems engineering documentation and procedures. They will be required to support team members in their required area of expertise and share their knowledge to aid in improving staff understanding. Skills and Experience required include: As directed, undertake the design, integration, testing and documentation of engineering subsystems. Plan, design, manage, execute and report test and test procedures. Produce technical documentation and undertake testing and fault finding using electronic test equipment (e.g. oscilloscopes, logic analysers, spectrum analysers) of RF communications systems and components. Experience in the following will be highly desirable: Coaxial, Optical and Signalling cabling, Satellite communication, Electrical Trade Certificate, Application of ARPANSA RF Standard, and RFolP technologies, Must have current Positive Vetting security clearance.
