Business Services Manager Your role will include: Managing the compliance, consulting and advisory work for an established client base (around $1mil) Preparation and review of financial statements ensuring deadlines are met, internally and externally Research and advice on complex matters Business planning, budgeting, forecasting, performance measurement Supervising, mentoring and developing a team Building and maintaining professional and meaningful relationships with clients and prospective clients, becoming the primary contact so as to grow the business of the firm Monthly reporting to Partner on team performance Requirements: CA/CPA qualifications Experience in a similar role Keen to develop junior staff, share knowledge and mentor them Strong business acumen Proactive thinker Very strong technical skills and ability Excellent client management, team management and interpersonal skills Able to demonstrate ownership of the project and to use own initiative Strong Australian Tax knowledge Excellent organisational skills Aspiration to step up to responsibilities Senior Accountant Your role will include: Preparation of financial statements and taxation returns for companies, trusts and individuals Assist with developing client relationships Client facing role for the right candidate Review work of junior staff Mentoring junior staff Requirements: Completed CA/CPA Experience as a Senior Accountant within a mid-tier firm (preferred) Excellent communication skills with a history of working directly with clients Strong work ethic and pro-active mentality XERO experience (preferred) Ability to produce work with a high level of accuracy Excellent organisational skills, deadline driven Benefits: Career progression through their Career Progression Program Ability to purchase additional annual leave Flexible working arrangements available to you are up to 2 days a week WFH, 4-day week or 9-day fortnight, flexi day off once a month; plan your working month in advance!
