Position Responsibilities Proficient in audit techniques, sampling methods, and risk assessment procedures Ability to analyse financial statements for accuracy, completeness and compliance with Strata legislation Familiarity with strata legislation and regulations in the relevant jurisdiction, as these often dictate financial reporting requirements Understanding how Owners Corporations manage budgets, levy contributions and maintain long term maintenance funds Insights into typical strata expenses in relation to common property and their impact on financial reporting Communicate identified issues with the client, both orally and written, and discuss approaches to resolve these issues Provide software assistance as required to enable clients to optimise the use of their accounting systems Support the set up of new and existing clients with accounting software Actively manage work in progress by preparing invoices for the work completed Participate in client meetings where required Liaise with third parties when required for the completion of audit queries Staying Current: keeping up to date with changes in accounting standards, auditing practices, and strata legislation About You Minimum of 2 years' experience in Audit or Accounting Chartered Accountant qualification or in progress Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or similar Familiarity with audit tools and accounting software commonly used in strata accounting Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Committed to providing exceptional service to our clients Proactive, self-motivated and enthusiastic
