Your role as an Intermediate or Senior Accountant will include: Preparation of Financial Accounts using Xero and MYOB Preparation of Income Tax Returns for Companies, Trusts, Partnerships, Individuals and Self-Managed Superannuation Funds. Preparation of Business Activity Statements and Instalment Activity Statements using the Tax Agent Portal. Collate the financial accounts and tax returns for presentation to clients Meet ATO and other deadlines with respect to the allocated clients. Keep up to date with the relevant legislation and adhere to the professional standards as required by our professional associations and relevant regulators. Working under minimal supervision. Dealing with Clients; both face to face, over the phone and via email relating to their tax and accounting matters. Dealing with the ATO on behalf of clients. Your background will include: Bachelor Degree in Accounting/Economics Minimum 2 years business services experience in the Australian market Do You Have What It Takes to Succeed? Is This You? Positive and happy attitude Live ideally within the local community or have a travel time no more than 40 minutes Excellent written and verbal English communication skills A methodical approach to work Strong attention to detail A 'can do' attitude and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
