We’re partnering with a fast-growing e-commerce and retail business to find a motivated Assistant Accountant to join their collaborative finance team, based in Sydney CBD. This is an ideal role for someone with 2 years of accounting experience who’s ready to broaden their skill set and gain hands-on exposure to a fast-paced commercial environment. You’ll be working directly with the Financial Accountant and Finance Manager, contributing to a range of core tasks across accounts payable/receivable, month-end closing, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Key Responsibilities: Assist with monthly and quarterly reporting tasks Maintain the general ledger and perform balance sheet reconciliations Manage AP/AR processes and liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders Support the finance team with audit prep and compliance duties Contribute to process improvement and automation projects What We’re Looking For: Degree-qualified in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 2 years' experience in a similar Assistant Accountant or junior finance role Strong attention to detail, with solid Excel and ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) skills Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Apply now!
