The Opportunity A leading financial institution is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to manage statutory and regulatory reporting, financial control processes, and provide technical accounting advice. This role offers the chance to work across a variety of business units, collaborating with key stakeholders while driving continuous improvement in financial operations. Your Role Lead the preparation and review of statutory and regulatory reports, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Provide expert accounting advice and policy guidance. Support financial control by maintaining governance frameworks and ensuring data integrity. Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and monitor liquidity and cash flow. Identify opportunities for process and system improvements, driving efficiency and automation. Work closely with auditors, regulators, legal teams, and other finance functions to ensure reporting accuracy. What We’re Looking For 5 years of relevant experience in financial services, banking of funds. CA/CPA qualification and a degree in accounting, finance, or business. Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Proven analytical and problem-solving ability with a continuous improvement mindset. Experience using financial systems, databases, and Microsoft Excel/Word.
