Corporate Management Accountant The Company Our client, a growing global asset manager focusing on investment in various asset classes are looking for a corporate accountant to join their team. The Role This role offers an excellent platform to demonstrate expertise in corporate reporting, management reporting, and cost center analysis. You'll be working alongside a professional, supportive, and highly experienced team, providing valuable insights and contributing to financial decision-making at a strategic level. Responsibilities Oversee the preparation, processing, and review of General Ledger journals, ensuring all transactions comply with company policies and adhere to accounting standards. Manage and reconcile intercompany accounts, working closely with affiliates across the broader Group to verify and settle balances effectively. Conduct monthly account reconciliations for the balance sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow Statement, ensuring accuracy and completeness within the Group Support quarterly reporting efforts to the corporate head office, including tax provisioning assessments. Contribute to the annual budgeting cycle and any necessary budget revisions throughout the year. Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements and accompanying schedules. Facilitate the year-end audit process, providing necessary documentation and support. Stay informed on updates to AASB regulations, evaluating their implications for financial statements. Experience & Qualifications CA or CPA qualified Accountant Tax experience Strong cost centre management and reporting knowledge Management reporting compilation and presentation building Strong financial reporting knowledge Understanding of statutory financial reporting and of legal entities Analysis of result variances and data
