Role Description This is a contract, on-site Senior Data Analyst role based in Canberra Melbourne or QLD. It is only open to TS-PV/PA clearance holders. The Senior Data Analyst will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, interpret complex data sets, and translate business questions into analytical problems. Responsibilities include designing and maintaining data models, building and optimizing data pipelines, and preparing datasets for reporting and advanced analytics. The role involves performing statistical analysis, developing dashboards and reports, and communicating insights and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences. The Senior Data Analyst will also support data governance, contribute to data quality and documentation, and collaborate with engineering, architecture, and project teams on data-driven initiatives. Qualifications Strong Analytical Skills and proven experience in Data Analytics, including exploratory analysis, trend identification, and insight generation.Proficiency in Statistics and quantitative methods to support forecasting, hypothesis testing, and evidence-based decision-making.Experience in Data Modeling and data design, including relational and dimensional models, to support reporting and analytics solutions.Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings clearly to stakeholders at different levels.Technical Skills • Machine learning, data mining, clustering, classification, and visualisation • Graph databases (Neo4j) and relational databases • Data integration, correlation of disparate datasets • Data engineering, modelling, and automation • Scripting for data collection, enrichment, analysis, and reporting • Python, ElasticSearch, Linux, Apache NiFi
