An innovative Federal Government Agency is looking to engage 2 x experienced Technical Writers / Content Designers to develop high-quality technical publications and user-focused content within a secure government environment. The successful candidates will work closely with technical and business stakeholders across the full content lifecycle, including research, scoping, consultation, review, publishing and continuous improvement. The roles will be offered as an initial 12 month contract with 2 x 12 month extension options , based in Canberra, ACT with onsite working arrangements. The Technical Writers / Content Designers will be responsible for but not limited to; Supporting technical publications through research, scoping, consultation, review and publishing Conducting research and translating complex technical information into clear, accurate and audience-appropriate content Developing technical guidance, publications and advisory content Creating and publishing web content, digital publications, eLearning materials and interactive content Ensuring content is consistent with organisational messaging, branding and strategic objectives The Technical Writers / Content Designers will have experience in the following: Strong technical writing, research, editing and written communication skills Experience translating complex technical information for diverse audiences Demonstrated experience developing and publishing high-quality digital content Understanding of content governance, publishing risks and legal considerations Experience using measurement tools and reporting to evaluate content effectiveness This is an exciting opportunity for experienced Technical Writers / Content Designers looking to join a high-profile Federal Government program.
