Brain Injury SA is looking for a warm, organised and proactive Office Coordinator / Receptionist to join our Central Hub team on a fixed-term basis. This isn't a standard reception role. You'll be the first face clients see and the first voice they hear — in a therapeutic environment where that first impression shapes someone's entire experience of their care. If you thrive in a busy, people-centred workplace and take real pride in doing the details well, this is a role worth applying for. THE ROLE Office Coordinator / Receptionist — City Hub (Light Square) Full-time | Fixed-term contract: 10 August 2026 — April 2027 (8 months) SCHADS Award Level 2–3, dependent on experience Reporting to the Hub Team Leader, you'll sit at the centre of day-to-day hub operations — keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes while ensuring every client interaction is professional, warm and person-centred. You'll work closely with the Service Coordinator and allied health team to coordinate appointments, manage communications, support IT operations, and make sure the hub is always ready for the day. Day-to-day, you will: Be the welcoming first point of contact for clients, families and visitors — in person and by phone Coordinate and book client appointments in collaboration with therapists and the Service Coordinator Communicate with new clients about service agreements and program onboarding Facilitate clear, timely communication between clients and the broader Rewire team Provide accurate, confidential administrative support across hub and organisational functions Support IT functionality and general office operations including database management Manage hub opening and closing procedures, maintain facilities presentation and keep supplies stocked Contribute flexibly to broader organisational administrative needs as required WHAT MAKES THIS ROLE DIFFERENT The work has genuine purpose BISA supports adults living with acquired brain injury — people navigating some of the most significant challenges of their lives. The way you welcome someone at reception, take a call, or help them understand their schedule genuinely matters here. A therapeutic environment that values its whole team At BISA, reception isn't an afterthought — it's a central part of how we deliver person-centred care. You'll be a valued member of the broader hub team, connected to the allied health staff and the work they do, and genuinely included in the organisation's culture and development. Variety and responsibility in equal measure From appointment scheduling and client onboarding to IT troubleshooting and facilities coordination, no two days are the same. If you like a role with real scope — not just answering phones — this will suit you. A team that invests in you Even in a fixed-term role, you'll have access to BISA's regular internal training, team events, and a genuinely collaborative administration team. You'll be supported to do your job well from day one. ⚖️ A values-led organisation BISA's values — empathy, respect, empowerment, accountability, drive and collaboration — shape how we work with clients and with each other.
