About the role Menzel Glass Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Glazier to join our team in South Geelong, VIC. This is a full-time position offering an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable glass company that specializes in high-quality glazing solutions. As a Glazier, you will play a crucial role in delivering professional glass installation and maintenance services to our diverse client base. Your expertise in residential and commercial glazing will directly impact the quality of our work and the satisfaction of our customers, making this a strategically important position within our operations. What you'll be doing Installing glass in Residential/Commercial window frames, doors, shop fronts and other architectural applications Preparing surfaces and applying sealants, glazing compounds and adhesives to ensure secure and weather-resistant installations Using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete glazing work Inspecting installed glass for defects, cracks and improper sealing, and making necessary repairs Maintaining work areas in a clean and safe condition, adhering to health and safety regulations Transporting glass and materials to job sites and handling them safely What we're looking for Formal qualification or apprenticeship in glazing or glass fitting Minimum 3–5 years of practical experience as a Glazier in the building trades Proficiency with hand tools and power tools commonly used in glazing work Strong understanding of glass types, safety standards and installation techniques Physical fitness and ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship Valid driver's license and ability to transport materials and equipment Strong communication skills and a professional approach to customer service Current or willingness to obtain relevant safety certifications (such as Working at Heights) What we offer Menzel Glass Pty Ltd is committed to providing a rewarding workplace where skilled tradespeople can build a successful career.
