About the role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Care Staff to join the team at The Carers in the South Perth to Rockingham region. In this casual role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our older clients in their own homes, helping them to live independently and with dignity. What you'll be doing Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping Providing companionship and engaging clients in social support activities Monitoring clients' health and wellbeing, and reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate staff Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to client care Adhering to all relevant policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of clients What we're looking for Previous experience or a desire to work in home-based aged care and willingness to provide care and support to older people in their own homes Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and empathise with clients Good time management and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively to a designated schedule A caring, patient, and compassionate nature, with a genuine interest in improving the lives of others Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent is preferred but not essential Valid Australian work rights including citizenship, permanent residency, or appropriate work visa Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required for this position Police clearance is required and can be obtained before a job offer is made Full Open WA Driving License What we offer At The Carers , we are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment that values our employees' wellbeing and development.
