The role: We are looking for a fulltime, Junior Project Administrator/Coordinator to work on site and at our offices located in Canning Vale. This role is ideal for someone who is developing experience in the construction industry, and ideally, some exposure to commercial projects. Its a fantastic opportunity for someone to develop project management skills, with on the job support and training. This role is responsible for resourcing, scheduling and administration of projects in line with project deliverables and costs, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. The role will include on a daily basis: Coordinating glazing and aluminium projects from commencement to completion through efficient planning, procedures and communication Daily scheduling of works for the glazing team and subcontractors Ensure materials are ready for each project Communicate with the factory production team on required orders Maintain stock and housekeeping of in-house aluminium department Coordinate training of apprentices in conjunction with the manager Provide on-site assistance and assist the ProInstall team as required Maintain WHS requirements of projects The person: Reporting to the Commercial Manager - ProInstall, this position requires the ability to work both in office on administrative tasks and be hands-on, on-site to lead the glazing team. It is a fast paced role that requires a resilient nature, as you will often be faced with multiple customer demands and issues that require a calm response and an ability to see the solutions. Ideally you will have: Completed Year 12 as a minimum. Currently hold, or working towards, qualifications within the building and construction industry. Some experience in administration, ideally within a construction or trade services environment. Experience with ProCore/Aconex/Estimate 1/Builder Trend (advantageous). Strong Microsoft Suite skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Sharepoint. Excellent verbal (specifically telephone) and written communication skills. Ability to show initiative and work with minimal supervision when required. High level of attention to detail and an organised approach to work. Able to adapt to changes in work requirements and team needs. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands. A positive, collaborative attitude with a commitment to continuous improvement. A current driver's licence.
