About the Role We are seeking a reliable and professional HC/MC Owner Operator with their own semi prime mover to join our transport operations in Dry Creek, SA. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of freight while maintaining high standards of customer service, compliance, and vehicle presentation. Key Responsibilities Transport freight safely and efficiently according to delivery schedules. Conduct pre-start, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections. Secure loads in accordance with legal and company requirements. Complete delivery documentation accurately and on time. Comply with all road transport regulations, fatigue management, and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements. Maintain regular communication with dispatch regarding schedules and delivery updates. Ensure the prime mover is clean, roadworthy, and maintained to a high standard. Deliver excellent customer service when interacting with clients and receivers. Essential Requirements Own a well-maintained prime mover suitable for commercial freight operations. Current and valid HC/MC (Multi Combination) Driver Licence. Current ABN and appropriate business insurances. Comprehensive vehicle insurance. Public Liability Insurance. Marine Transit Insurance. Strong understanding of National Heavy Vehicle Regulations (NHVR). Sound knowledge of fatigue management and load restraint requirements. Excellent driving record. Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules effectively. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
